Can someone explain why the guys that regularly manage to slam Blackhawks into the ground get direct entry into the lucrative jobs while a 3,000 hour civilian rotor pilot (who may even hold the extremely valuable rotorcraft ATP rating) with real experience in the civilian aviation industry is told to get bent? Other than the FARs saying they can get an R-ATP for some odd reason?
