Essentially hes telling pilots that they are only valuable as long as they do their jobs and don't question authority. Whatever the reason, the message is harmful and unprofessional and creates a climate of fear and mistrust, which could lead to safety problems. It is important to note that not all HAA managers are like this. There are many HAA managers who are respectful of their pilots and who value their input. However, this message is a reminder that leadership is still a problem in the HAA industry. |
