in the passenger seat and not have that responsibility....YOU can actually enjoy your 7 off and shut off your phone and in most companies (like PHI) the pilots make more than the managers...Not worth the Internal politics thrown at you as a manager by Program managers, Clinician base managers etc questioning you as a HAA manager...plus getting called at 1am-3am in the am whether you are on call or not, you have to answer that call....id rather be in the pilot seat and just go to work, fly the line, or not and get paid....turn my phone off after 7 days.... |
