Oversight is minimal and for better or worse you are left alone. If you don't need a manager constantly over your shoulder telling you what to do, you'll be ok. The downside is other crews/bases can turn flights for just about any stupid reason they choose and they will never be called on it. I still don't know how bases/pilots can turn a flight for the most asinine reason and then watch as another company ship comes into your area and takes that patient with zero problems and not be embarassed.

Anyway, there are other downsides to PHI but I'll let you figure those out on your own. Oh, and you're on your own for boots, although you could always just wear sneakers as no one cares. Helmets are a mix of new/refurbished. (In case anyone actually cares about such a trivial thing)
