The reality is some companies will follow suit eventually, some will not. The mini *Bob Suggs" (relax mods, Guy died long ago, but infamous for the way he treated pilots.) running yel/blk has said they're not chasing market wages. I'm truly happy for the rest. I started when the wage was 25K/yr. finally you're getting paid for the risk and can support a family. I give Yel/blk two years max before it's a footnote in the EMS industry, a lesson in "what not to do". |
