a fan of woke (especially) helicopter concerns because it implies immature and unconstructive behavior.  DEI can be different, its tenents can actually be worthwhile.  DEI is another way of saying we all, in every respect, can benefit from diversity, including equitable elements.  But, it iis perceived as a product of wokeness that many just see as baloney, myself included.  We'll see if the initiative improves helicoptter aviation, eh?
