I'm gonna do a good show today because I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darnit, people like me!

Once upon a time back when the union pilots were on strike we had these brand new big fat helicopters with Cockpit voice recorders in them.  Well, they had the union president and his favorite copilot fly one up from Houma because they knew with all the buzz going on about the strike there'd be some juicy gossip in the cockpit that day.

When the two landed and slithered off to the nearest day old donut box, upper management came get me real incognito like and said, "hey, go pull the cvr off that aircraft and bring it to the shop."

I did as I was told.

Now if those cockpit fart smellers didn't rememeber that the erase function works when you hit weight on wheels....well that's their own dumb fault.

I still wonder to this day, if my actions helped bust the union.

I'd like to think it did.
