Just a thought, I was once on a clearence and just missed a Cessna 180 in the fog going the opposite direction doing outlaw IFR. I guess he was having fun like you were. In any case you don't get much sympathy for being an illegal danger to others. It was on the North Slope and his excuse was that he had been flying up the coast for years in the fog, without incident, as a necessity because of the frequent costal fog. Dumb is dumb regardless of how much fun you are having or your desire to make a buck.
