Why do you disagree with concurrent receipt? Someone who served 2 years with the military and gets discharged with a disability, then mows lawns in Washington for 30 years for the federal government, then retires gets both federal retirement and disability in full. Why should a soldier who retires after 30 years and is awarded a disability be penalized and not the lawn mower? |
