To blame electronics and other new devices entering the cockpit as the problem, just as the kind blame guns as an issue. An iPad in the cockpit or a phone is just an object, and used incorrectly can possibly cause a distraction. but an iPad running ForeFlight is no more of a distraction than your panel mounted G430 or whatever and I would argue, mose of the garmin GPS are not even near as good as ForeFlight running in the cockpit. so |
