https://www.aopa.org/membership/personal/group-level-term-life When I ran the numbers it was cheaper to get an annual membership to AOPA and pay for the insurance rather than getting it elsewhere. Just note that AOPA offers "group" and "group level." Group adjusts the price upwards every time you get another 5 years older. Group level seems like it's a true term insurance, 10 or 20 year and way better prices. I took a 20 year term policy in my early 30's and it's $50 a month for 1 million in coverage. I figured at the end of the term Id have enough in assets to self insure. Good luck, hope your family never needs it! And congrats on being a Dad! |
