55 or 56 IAT is hotter than most general work environments in the world. Usually starters have lower limits than anything else in the aircraft (and some starters don't have specific temp limits). Doesn't mean you won't burn up a starter but at least there's no OEM listed temp limit. DA is DA, though, so be careful if you're heavy even if a chart says you're fine. Get out there and fly! |
