know your helicopter background but I hired a 35 year retired airline Captain w/about 3000 heli hours.  Very good fellow who discovered, as he told his airline friends, "he has to do it all".  Yes, it's different, as a HAA pilot you check your own weather, preflight the machine, fuel it up yourself, help get it in and out of hangar, do maybe nt run ups and check flights, ferry helicopters, jump in rental cars to go 250 miles to pick one up, and


A L L the rest.  Easy flying?  Generally yes.  Sometimes definitely not.  Nice coworkers on the medical side?  Depends, seriously.  


Fill in the blanks, and there are lots of them.
