Former CBP pilot here, those things were death traps. Autorotate like a Coke machine dropped from a C-130... After years of pilot complaints, we had an MD test pilot fly with our SME to prove auto capabilities, the test pilot crashed doing a 180 auto... We subsequently got rid of all the aircraft. |
