Sucks to be the taxpayer for next years fire season if the FS gets their way with new contracts.... probably sucks to be the operators too taking the risk. Why would covid slow fire? If anything some chud is going to be out camping and light off a fire somewhere if covid shuts it all down again. That or everyone will revolt and the tankers will be busy with burning cities. Experienced utility pilots aren't going to airlines, they're turning down work. 2022 should be a fun year, agreed. |
