More importantly, why did the UNION let them? The CBA prescribes a salary and t6be terms for which that salary is earned, which included the duty ready obligation. The claim that the pilot's are not getting paid for that is basically absurd, since it is PART of their negotiated annual salary ad spelled out in Appendix A.

That lawsuit was frivolous and filed in the wrong venue, since the complaint was a grievance under the RLA.

The NMB handles disputes, not the California Court system!
