You said "my bet is small arms fire" after saying LTE wasn't likely because you flew it for 4k hours like that means something in this situation. Obviously some kind of failure didn't cross your mind because you jumped right to small arms fire just because there was a cartel video from miles away that you apparently hadn't even watched because you weren't sure when the video even took place. Your theory has no potential for "thoughtful discussion" because there is no thought nor evidence behind it.

For more "thoughtful discussion" my best is that the CBP agent on board was on cartel payroll and purposefully brought the helicopter down to keep his friends across the borde safe.
