I went to an MRO company as former aviator (not a mechanic) and make 100+.
Was offered a 150+ job offer as a drone supervisor position that wanted former aviators (I wasn't willing to move though).

You do have to be able to write a good resume and think how to market skills you built as a leader in the cockpit or your organizations over the years.

Be patient, keep trying, and always keep searching and you'd be surprised what's out there.
