Retiring, safety jobs, fixed wing transitions, non-flying aviation or aviation mx related jobs, getting degree and going different direction, or making their side-gig into their full-time job.
LOTS of options to make better pay and schedule. Gotta listen to wisdom from old-timers, think about your future and where your career fits (which may be fine and dandy where you're at right now), and think about what gets you to retirement without sacrificing your family completely along the way.
