Has anyone employed in the GMR family of certificate’s received any stock shares? I’ve heard the amount you get is based on your salary and that you have to remain with the company for three years to receive full ownership. Sounds more like another retention bonus.

supplement the $40k retention paid after 3yrs if that is what you are asking...it is a Bonus add on...no big deal...you won't be rich off of it....people were panicking when they heard that, it might supplement the $40k or $50k (now after you get your 1st Retention)...It won't....too many people would jump ship

They are supposed to be sending out an email with your share allotment soon.  We get the full value amount in 2029 though.  Not sure I would call it a "retention bouns" as the value would be based on the market rate on the date of award.  

YeArs I was with another coMpany that went publiC and then returned ro private.  Didn't even get so much as a thanks for being here when it went public.  I still paid my 1% out though.  Left before it went back private though.

Appreciate the reply, that’s what I was inquiring about. I called it a “retention bonus” since you have to remain with the company until 2029. My concern is I’ve been with MTC for over 20 years and was planing retirement at 65 which will be in the fall of 2028. That being said it looks like I will loose the allotted company stock shares if I retire at that time. 

Why not stay a couple extra months and pick up the extra money?

Is about 600-700 shares each person that gets the certificates.  At $13/share x 650 shares is good money.  On top of your attention bonus you’re supposed to get. But you can’t cash them in until 2029.

This stock is just another cash grab for the executives.  All the other reasons are BS and a smoke screen
