With most flights being interfacility, I don't see how this works. What regions have topography allowing unsercured LZ ? This seems like an unaceptable liability risk. |

It was only one paramedic arriving at the scene, not a team. How faster did they arrive compared to a traditional helicopter crew of 3, where they can then also fly the patient to a trauma center? Under what FAR Part will this operate under? From a cost perspective, is this effective/efficient compared to traditional HAA operations?

I actually talked with them at KMRN last week. They were recharging off a Tesla truck Their goal is to get advanced care to the patient as soon as possible. EMS ground units are spread out in tharea so response times can be long. This just gets someone to the scene quicker. It's way more cost effective and helicopters aren't usually dispatched as the first response anyway. |

Maybe they press the safe mode button and it returns home by itself? |

Yeah maybe in the wealthiest areas, it’s just a single paramedic and can’t take them anywhere. In fact, if they’re using these to save time due to remote location, that paramedic is probably even more likely to call a helicopter. |

It’s a novel concept. Remember, the first US Astronaut was a chimpanzee. Evolution. |
