The military is being held responsible for a recent air medical crash in New Mexico due to GPS jamming operations that disrupted the navigation system of the medical transport aircraft, leading to the crash that resulted in four fatalities. |

Sadly this jamming exercise wasn’t a secret. The military does them regularly in the massive MOA’s of the west. The information was notamed so I’d say the EMS operations center has some culpability since that’s certainly as important as weather and crew rest times. The flight should have never been launched at night. |

Roswell to Ruidoso is 65 air miles. In a fixed wing! You can take an ox cart from Roswell to Ruidoso faster than you can get there by fixed wing. |
