My bad!! I meant to say I won't go. However, I understand duress. If you text me telling me to blow off regulations, I'll go. I don't want my heir's attorney to have to work around any bullsh!t plausible deniability arguments should something happen. |

I worked for a company once where the area manager put out an email stating on all weather declines the pilot was to take a screen shot of the weather and include that in a statement to him explaining why we declined. He ended the message with the statement, “help me help you.” I resigned immediately and within 3 weeks was attending training with another operator. |

Yeah fúck that. I’ll send them a the photo and the taf and metar of every appropriate airport, the prog chart, winds aloft and the area forecast. Then for good measure a copy of the company’s GOM section on Pressure to Fly. Let them sort through it. |

Duress is unfortunately an attorney's game. When you reply to any obvious duress in an e-mail, make sure you courtesy copy your personal e-mail and someone else that's trusted and knows the situation outside of the company. Forward any reply from the fiend as well. |

"Send me that in an email and I'll do it" usually would do the trick. |

It actually was in an email to all pilots in the region. Company didn’t seem to care, I didn’t push back, just resigned. |

When will this insanity stop? The aviation graveyard is already full of tombstones because of these foolish decisions. |

The go/no go is the most important decision a pilot makes. Get it wrong and every decision after that is compromised. |

“Weather” to go, or not to go…………..That is the question. If going is EVER a question, the answer is no. |
