Trying to get the whole picture of what different employers are offering their pilots for PTO/Sick time.

PHI and AMC's are public in their CBA's:

PHI Vacation: 40 hours year 1, 120 hours years 1-3, 144 hours years 4-8, 168 hours from years 9+. Max PTO balance you can roll over: 344 hours.

PHI "Sick" time: Emergency medical leave that you can only access after using 40 hours of PTO first and need a doctors note to utilize: Up to 48 hours a year starting at year 4 of employment, max bank 560 hours.

AMC: 84 hours years 1-5, 126 hours years 5-10, 168 hours years 11-15, 210 hours after 15 years. Max bank 264 hours.

AMC Sick time: 60 hours a year, max bank 120 hours.

If anyone could share MTC's or Metro's policies I'd be grateful. Thanks!

Not necessarily the sector, but the company a pilot works for.  New hires at our company start PTO accrual at 189 hrs/yr.  Increases after three years and certain tenure points thereafter.  Max in the bank is 324 [I think] and can either sell back a bunch annually or you don't want to sell back, the excess of the maximum will be paid out quarterly.

Probably not the best in the sector, but not the worst, either.

All depends on the company.

May be exactly true for a lot of companies.

Med-Trans/GMR sent out an email that they are currently adjusting PTO accruals. All I know is they are increasing accrual rates across the board and currently giving everyone an extra chunk of PTO hours at the end of the quarter while they finalize the plan. I can't speak to all the accrual rates but I'm at 12 years and accrue 200 hours a year or 7.69 hours a paycheck. The maximum you can carry is 240 and you can cash out PTO as often as you want.

For MTC, you get an additional 15 hours a year accrued quarterly for 0-5 years.  Once you hit 10 years, you get an additional 22.5 hours.

You also don’t have to burn through your PTO first before utilizing STD/LTD.  You can supplement STD/LTD with your PTO as you deem necessary.

not true. You must be off work for 10 scheduled days before STD kicks in.  I guess if you don’t want to get paid, you don’t have to use PTO.

When did MTC send out the email? It seems that MTC float pilots are not included in this benefits  improvement once again

It was sent a couple of weeks ago.  Before the floats changed over to the new scale.  It should be applicable to floats now too I would think.

Maybe take the time to actually read the emails that come from company leadership and don't just delete them. It also went to floats because you can see it in the address line. The crying you do on here about being a float is crazy! If you don't like it there are open line positions.
