Imagine the loss of a pilot, family member, etc….and you get sued by the flight nurses lawyers….

This is why EMS is garbage, junk equipment, junk attitudes, and corporate greed

nothing great about ems but the same thing would have happened whether it's an airplane or a bus or a rickshaw. nothing different legally because it was a helicopter

They sued the aircraft manufacturer

They sued the engine manufacturer

They sued the pilot

BUT, THEY DIDN'T SUE:

The named Business entity that is the principle operator of Duke Lifeflight?

The owner of the Helicopter? (who is equally responsible for it's airworthiness)

The employer of the plaintiff's heir who assigned him to that operation?

The principle operator who scheduled nearly everything about that flight?

Yes, they sued Air Methods too

They sued everyone BUT the principle operator, employer, and the person selling the ambulance service onto the only real victim here (the patient)

They are still advertising that they operate two air ambulance helicopter.

Why didn't the patient and worker also sue Duke?

Now, didn't you know that everyone in the HAA sector are self appointed aviation attorneys and lawyers?  Who would know more than a line pilot, flight nurse, or flight paramedic???

The average civil claims attorney certainly can't stack up to those three!
