One thing that's apparent is people who start threads like this do not understand that when they judge others, it's due to their own insecurities. It's a mirror into their own soul.

If you felt good about yourself and your own intelligence, you wouldn't have the need to put others down - Your intelligence would stand on its own - But it's probably not the case.

I guess you could read your own comment through that same lens, huh?

At some point, someone has to be a mirror and reflect back what others are putting out there.

If people on this forum, and in life, would gently remind people when the start an antagonizing post, they're likely taking a mirror to themselves and reflecting something they don't like about themselves. That's not putting someone down - That's addressing a behavior, recognizing it, and perhaps giving them some insight into why they feel the need to chastise someone.

One message is doing it out of kindness and compassion and the other, I argue, is out of insecurity.
