Quite some time ago, it used to be on a VFR Sectional a magenta shaded showed where controlled airspace started at 700' AGL above the surface, with Class G below.   And, where a blue shaded area was where controlled airspace started at 1,200' AGL with Class G below.  Those two depictions used to be back to back on the sectional.   And, the blue shaded area bordered federal airways either side in areas where uncontrolled airspace went up to 14,500' MSL.

Modern sectionals don't show the blue shaded areas anymore, where the floor of controlled airspace starts at 1,200' AGL.   So, how does areas of uncontrolled airspace below 14,500' MSL get depicted now?

I can't find any examples on sectional charts, seeming to imply all airspace above 1,200' AGL is controlled airspace now.   I don't think that's true, so I'm looking for examples on the modern sectional charts.

I thought I remember seeing examples of it depicted along victor airways out west somewhere, but I can't find it.

Any help would be appreciated.
