Looking at Metro  

They took over our hospital. When I mentioned AMC was offering a bonus to stay with them and asked if they would match the bonus the recruiter said verbatim “ Not likely.  You should stay with AMC if money is your concern.”

When they actually made the offer it was less than I was making flying single engine VFR, with the expectation to fly twin SPIFR for them, and lose seniority. I can’t remember the exact number but I think this was $26k annually above their next highest paying base and still didn’t match what we made. Not to mention AMCs contract and experience stipend continues to further increase the gap every year.

I have a family I really like (and I enjoy my job too) you’re gonna have to do better than “come join our family” 

It’s a hard no for me.
