Sadly, the issue is probably not why it lost power, rotor rpm or whatever the reason for the high G landing, the real issue is why after so my years of survivable post crash fires in AStars does the FAA continue to allow thousands to remain in service with plastic tanks. If you fly or ride in a AS 350 or early EC 130 find out if it has the upgraded crash resistant fuel tank. |
