Yup, and property taxes outside of Alabama are outrageous. Housing will cost at least 10-15% more.

You're right next to the commissary. Beach only 1.5 hrs away. They pay you NOT to use their insurance. You work (at MOST) 6 hrs a day (if you're trying REALLY hard). Sim days are even shorter. Wx days. Mx days. Day off if students check early. Guaranteed 2 weeks off at Christmas.

Don't have to wash your aircraft. Don't have to refuel your aircraft (some bases you have to go get the fuel truck, PMCS it, drive it over, and drive it back after hours). No med-crew drama. No 14 hr shifts.
