If you're making $150 you must be an Apache guy.

The $100K bonus is VERY new and only offered by PHI I believe.

Guys at normal bases only make $150K or more if they're a slave to overtime (so now you're really a 8/6 or 9/5 schedule (and that's assuming your sister base is close by otherwise add another day to travel).

Float guys make way more but again, you're doing 9/5 shift and 10/4 shift to try to get that OT and the travel will get old really quick. If you don't mind being a slave to the money then have at it.

Learning new bases, specific aircraft mod differences, finicky aircrew... it's a VERY different world than predictable Rucker (and 12 hr shifts extendable to 14 make for some long days... coming from Rucker, by day 7 you'll be ready for the 7 off (assuming you're at a mildly busy base). If an IFR program, more money but also no wx days, extra week-long trip to HQ for checkride for the year.

Know yourself and what you can handle is what's worth chasing that cash. HAA can get just as boring as Rucker. Really fun new adventure at first, but the stupidity and risks add up quick and you'll deal with more of that if you're a float pilot vs settling in at a good base.
