I am one of thousands of pilots with a special issue medical over sleep apnea. Yes, it’s stupid. But, the FAA has new procedures and a new form to report your usage. As of May 2026 your sleep therapy doctor has a shortened form to report your CPAP usage. One form instead of your entire years worth of data from your CPAP machine. That one form you take to your AME for upload to your FAA medical file. There are a few websites and official FAA website to obtain the new form. I just got this form signed off with sleep doctor I’d appreciate info from those who have submitted and your results. |
