Foreflight and GPS Lat/Long.   

Foreflight never had the neatest entry for lat long into the search field, however if you just press and hold a spot on the map and it bring up the info for that spot, hit save, then on the next page you'll see a cleaner entry for the format and it will snap the pin into place.  For helicopters and aviation in general you should always be using the degrees, minutes-decimal minutes format.  Its the format for waypoints on the helicopter route chart and 1 of the two accepted formats on the GNS units.
