Anyone who disagrees with you does not know the market right now and is selling themselves short. Why would anyone want to spend $250k to be a helicopter pilot(Yes that's what it costs at SUU Aviation)? They can spend much less to get fixed wing ratings and get far better pay and benefits in the airplane world. Also, why would military helo pilots not do a fixed wing transition after they get out? 750 hours is all that's required to get a provisional ATP and they make a good wage with amazing benefits starting in the regionals.
