Best flying shoes   

My choices which served me well; #1 boots in the Army, naturally #2 Sperry Docksiders in my offshore flying #3 Penny Loafers(shiny black) for pt. 135 FW charter #4 back to Sperry Docksiders for pt. 135 FW night cargo #5 back to Penny Loafers for pt. 121. I highly recommend slip on shoes for FW charter   as you will be sitting around the FBO a whole lot and kicking off your shoes in the Lazy Boy is pretty comfy. I never wore boots offshore as I thought it would be easier to swim if I went in the drink. Thank the Lord, that never happened. I didn’t go the HAA route so no recommendations there. YMMV.
