is to contact your representatives as they are the ones who manage the budget of the FAA and where the money goes. For example, for Special Issuances the medical board only meets 4 times a year now due to budget constraints. Blame who you want, but it all starts at the money side and what congress sees as more important at the moment which currently is to modernize ATC systems and not the medical review side.
