Director of Training Question  

    Does a FAA Part 135 Director of Training require a current FAA medical certificate? If he has had a medical condition that prevents him from preforming his duties as a Airman thus medically grounded from flying can he still preform his duties as a Director of Training ( when that company position required a current medical and able to preform flight duties, ie: was a flying position not a non-rated position ) . If this medical condition is serious enough to prevent him from getting his medical certificate back in the future and is under rehab to preform basic functions, how can he preform the duties of a Director of Training under Part 135 ?
