Most of those flight-time “opportunities” are actually opportunities for an owner or operator to avoid the cost of ferrying an aircraft somewhere. Find a helicopter pilot trying to build time to get to his/her “dream” EMS job someday and tell them what a good deal you’re offering for the opportunity to log “valuable PIC time” at this greatly reduced rate (which happens to coincide with the operating cost of the helicopter plus the hourly rate of his pilot who will be in the left seat for insurance purposes). There will ALWAYS be an inexperienced pilot who doesn’t know any better and will take them up on the offer. Know your worth ladies and gentlemen.
