proper handling. more like preparation and safety procedures weren't being used or followed was the problem. they were shooting at people ON PURPOSE but the gun was supposed to be filled with blanks. that has nothing to do with "handling". how did live ammo make it onto the set? how did an amorer allow it to be placed into the gun and then given to an actor. the whole reason for an armorer is to educate the crew, make sure the guns are safe and protect the crew and actors from the blank discharge. obvi that didn't happen.
