Original Message all the hatches and latches secure, know the hydraulic system and squat switch interaction especially with marginal pressure before liftoff, keep the swash plate well lubricated (drastically reduces the four per rev), and at a minimum keep the tail rotor balanced within 25 hours or sooner. Fail the last one and you definitely risk losing the tail rotor - you've been warned. Over 2,000 hours in it, lots of fun. |
