Original Message VRS phraseology started years ago describing a state concerning tail rotors. When did it switch to describing settling with power? I'm not sure, but I think that acronym really disassociates the true nature of the problem called 'settling with power', which is exactly what it is. And anyone who deliberately induces settling with power to the degree that results in an unrecoverable condition is a fool. Even AirBus agrees. To bad Bell didn't get the notice. |
