Original Message Unfortunately some stick-wigglers need several alarms, whistles, highlights, and lots of other control measures to ensure they do not overfly inspections, services...maybe all that is needed is more education and training on how to preflight an engineering logbook? Their are over 2000 part 135 operators ranging from 1 aircraft to hundreds. Their logbooks are all fairly similar and contain the information required to determine the aircraftis status. Not all operators can afford the systems required to alert some wigglers as a stop gap. My bet is your company had to self-disclose a fellow wiggler's lack of attention and understanding of their aircraft's status and subsequent overflight requiring a "fix" to the FAA.
