Original Message PHI did away with sick time and made it Emergency Medical Leave. (EML) I forget the yearly accrual, but it maxes out at 560 hours (7 weeks @ 80hrs a week)
Downsides: You can't use it until you've been with the company for 4 years, and have already taken 40 hours of PTO for the issue.
I.e. If you get the flu you need to take 40 hours of PTO first, then you can start using your EML time.
But you know, dont come to work sick! Stay home, protect your fellow employees and burn all your limited vacation time! |
