Original Message Been doing this about as long as anyone. This profession is a volunteer sport. Those who struggle tend to not be very good at what we do. I'm here probably because I'm a little on the lazy side. Sitting in a chair all day getting paid to occasionally fly is probably the best job there is. I made $160K last year and flew about 12 hours a month. No bills, no kids, a net worth a little over $1M and I'm happy. My only regret is letting to much time to by and not doing more fun stuff on my off time. Flying for a living sure beats milking cows. That's where I started. |
