Power drift off the runway onto the taxiway in the grass yesterday....

 

 

 

Easy enough to deduce they hit the wet runway ran out of length and instead of keepin her straight and going off the overrun....try to drift onto the taxiway like a super cool ricer on tokyo drift.....and well you can see how that worked out.

 

I was on a flight that landed in Durango CO. 737.....they did the exact same thing because the runway had about a foot of snow....I felt the plane drift after landing and slowing that took forever....looked out the window as I was seated near the main wing and could see the perimeter fence.......the wing was more than half way over the top of the fence.  I was like what the f.....so I guess that just happened.   YES it happens.

THey slid that baby sideways right at the end of the runway.  Some times it works....some times you make the news.
