LFN will pay for 100% of the employee's medical, dental, and vision. The benefits don't cost as much as with Air Methods for premiums for spouse and dependents, but the insurance coverage isn't out of this world. Adding spouse and dependents are additional. They also claim to have top end pay, but in reality it is mediocre at best. The way they calculate your base pay is your total number of EMS year flow + 1/2 of any other helicopter time = base starting pay. Starting VFR pay is $92k I believe and $100k for IFR. HR loves to put that they give almost 4 weeks of PTO per year, but that's only if you work an office job and take 8hrs of PTO for a day off. For 12hr shifts you get 12 days a year (152hrs) starting off and for the first 5yrs accrude per paycheck. No sick time.

Negotiate upfront as much as you can since you will never be able to go back and get anything more from them. Annual step increases are also just 1.68%. So, if they decide to not give a cost of living raise, then all you're guaranteed is 1.68%
