to mention that deviating to the side of a power station may add 1 or 2 seconds to your enroute time.  Worried about the condition of the patient?  That's not your job, and don't let the medical crew control your decisions.  Their input is appreciated and considered, but that's as far as it goes.  Called working together.

And, BTW, you do not work for the medical people, they do not pay your salary and are not at all in line on the operating certificate, they are not the customer.  The customer is the patient and your role in the equation is to fly the crew and patient safely from A to B at your speed and discretion.

Keep your role in the situation clearly defined for everyone's benefit.
