There is nothing in FAR's that says you cannot overfly power stations.  I believe there are a few around the country but they should be indicated on the chart.  I have flown over Indian Point nuclear plant for years and people ask is that legal, I point out various areas that are restricted. Don't lose any sleep over this and stay safe!
