Yeah, sure you're right.  I spent the last 5 years of my career there and have been comfortably retired ever since.  If you can't deal with things for 5 years in order to live a nice retirement, so be it.  Many of us can do that sacrifice.

Oh, and I was treated a whole lot worse at times, and had much more austere living conditions during my military days.
