no utility operator can survive just in their own state, that's stupid. You go where the work is. if you arnt able to do the schedule there are 15 others who can. Don't think you're special. They would rather have an OK pilot who's average at best who can barely do that job but is willing to be out for long periods of time than someone who cries each time they have to go get on an airline to the job.
